Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design in New York after reflecting on why there are so few women creative directors. She believes we can change that through mentorship and championing others' work. We couldn't agree more.
We believe it is important to do something about the gaps and hurdles we face as women in this field. We don’t want to focus just on the negatives of our challenge though, we want to be part of the solution (or at least the conversation). By recognizing and supporting the fierce female creatives in the Fond du Lac area, we hope to build the female presence in the industry and grow the confidence of the ladies wanting to get into it.
