Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design in New York after doing a lot of thinking and reading on why there are so few women creative directors. She believes we can change that through mentorship and championing others' work. There is no limit to what we can accomplish together. Here are some articles and a TED talk that were eye opening for me:

Kill them with kindness
Debbie Millman talking about her life
TED talk about how everyone designs

Numbers show that there's a very small percentage of women in creative leadership roles. However, we find the people we're inspired by most are often other talented females. We're working on a list of creative women that we feel are admirable and inspirational. Email me if you want to nominate someone for this list.
