The event Say It, Wear It. wants to celebrate the meaningful relationship between women and fashion with a pattern exhibition dedicated to women empowerment. The textile designer Silvia Stella Osella will introduce the exhibition with a talk about her experience between fashion and graphic design and how it’s possible to improve the current women situation in the creative industry. The event will start with a live performance of the talented illustrator Shutupclaudia.

It’s more than just fashion, it’s a statement: clothes are used as a means of self-expression in many cultures and colorful patterns and textiles sometimes can help women convey their message to society. Whether it’s about how they feel, their personality or their beliefs: it’s all out in the open. Today we’re launching a textile-based open call to invite artists to express what women empowerment means to them with a pattern.

A social-detox aperitif to discuss cyber harassment against women done... by women themselves! Smartphones in airplane mode and detoxifying cocktails are the main ingredients of this screen-free evening.

Express your point of view on which behaviors you think society still considers inappropriate for women in 2018 - not only in the workplace but in all contexts, according to all those social, religious, cultural constraints which have been trying to push women’s empowerment back ever since the old days.

Basta chiacchiere, è tempo di sporcarsi le mani! Realizzeremo insieme una serie di gif in set design su quelli che consideriamo i comportamenti inadeguati sul posto di lavoro. Il tutto in chiave ironica e a suon di colori pop. L’evento sarà diviso in due appuntamenti:

3 Giugno ore 14:30 - Realizzazione pratica delle gif sul set

Cosa significa per una donna lavorare in un ambiente prevalentemente maschile? Quali sono i suoi pro e i suoi contro e come si è evoluto il rapporto con l'altro sesso sul posto di lavoro? Tirate fuori il vostro completo elegante, ne parleremo in una location d'eccezione di fronte ad un whisky on the rocks!
Dress code: tuxedo e papillon ;)
