A salon night held bimonthly with 8 to 10 creative womxn. We occasionally host guest speakers, special workshops and field trips that might be able to accommodate a larger group. We’ll wine, dine, and have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life.

If you’re a female creative in graphic design, illustration, UX/UI design, industrial design, architecture, fashion design, interior design, information architecture, or user research, and would like to join us - we'd love to have you. Reservations are first-come, first serve.

Yes, the name suggests wine and we will always provide some, but no sweat if you don't drink, we always try to have some non-alcoholic options on hand!

September 11, 6:30 Guest Speaker Series: Pamela Rounis

Pamela is a Creative Director at Rethink, working with clients such as WestJet, YWCA and A&W. Her work has been recognized by the One Show, Clio Awards, Communication Arts, the Advertising & Design Club of Canada, Applied Arts, Marketing Awards and the National Magazine Awards.

She's no stranger to the pressures that creatives face, and she's going to share her experiences and hacks for surviving in an industry that is famously bad for your mental health.

Ever get the Sunday Scaries? Get creative block halfway through a brief and procrastinate until it’s due? Or think you’re not cut out for this career? Join us on May 1st for an interactive workshop with Jessica Luch designed for creatives at all stages of their careers.

We’ll run through tactics and exercises developed to silence your inner critic, find a way through creative anxiety, and identify self-limiting beliefs.

We are kicking off a new Guest Speaker series and are very excited to have Leila Singleton join us as our first guest. She is an incredible and independent, hands-on art and creative director. then relocated to San Francisco, where she built a DMO’s in-house design division. In 2012, she opted to go solo, and in 2017 she moved to Vancouver.

Let’s dive into her inspiring freelance career and passion for education.

Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design in New York after doing a lot of thinking and reading on why there are so few women creative directors.
