Our very own LW&D member, Parisa Tashakori, has an exhibition showing at the Dairy Arts Center! We Are From Iran: Persian Typographic Posters is both a visual and cultural encounter—one that invites audiences to look closely, feel deeply, and consider the power of design as a tool for connection, resistance, and reflection.
We thought, what better way to spend our September get-together than at the show? We hope you’ll join us in supporting Parisa and the work.

Hey LW&D’ers,
Looking forward to getting together and catching up next week.
The theme for our March salon is Comfort Zone, and few things make (a lot of) us more uncomfortable than unapologetically bragging about something we recently created.
You’re not “selling it” to us, we're not the client. We just want to bask in your excitement about your amazing work. Personal or professional, printed or digital, come ready to share something you’ve made and why you’re obsessed with it—and prepare to bask in all the claps, squeals and hugs.
When: Tues, 3/10 from 6-8p
Where: Curio | 1737 15th St, Boulder, CO 80302
What to bring: a bevy or snack, if you can
See you there,

Greetings LW&D’ers,
We’re heading outside for a spring game night. We’ll have cards plus board games like backgammon and Sorry (plus a game you love if you’d like to bring it), because—well—it just feels like we could use a night to play.
We’ll also be raising a glass to Sarah, who will be stepping back as LW&D co-host after April.
Where: Limelight lawn
When: Tues 4/14 from 6-8p
Can’t wait to see you there,
Amy & Sarah

Ladies*, Wine** & Design is a global non-profit initiative with chapters in over 285 cities worldwide. LW&D was founded in 2015 by Jessica Walsh after this happened. Only .1% of creative agencies are founded by women & non-binary people, and the numbers are even smaller for women/non-binary BIPOC. Our mission is to see more diversity in the creative industry, especially within leadership roles. LW&D takes an intersectional approach to this work. We offer free mentorship circles, portfolio reviews, talks & creative meetups for underrepresented creatives.
*Our space is inclusive of all women, non-binary, agender and gender non-conforming people. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of that individual. If you feel you could benefit from a space meant for people who do not identify as cis men to share ideas and collaborate, you are welcome. **Alcohol is entirely optional; you can drink tea, coffee, or whatever you like!
