Empowering women & female-identifying creatives in Bend, OR

Ladies Wine & Design (LWD) in Bend, Oregon, is for women and female-identifying creatives in Central Oregon. Each month, we we (try) to host two events: a casual and creative chat discussing business, art, and life, as well as an artistic outing exploring a creativity-centric concept, gallery, talk, or show. We are looking forward to fostering our creative community and meeting you!

Oct 06, 1-2:30 PM 2 Into 1, Featuring Hope Meng + Creative Coffee Chat

Join us for an afternoon of art: We will meet at 1pm at the Scalehouse Gallery in downtown Bend, to see the current Exhibition 2 into 1. We will then head over to the Commons for a coffee and a chat about the exhibit, as well as creativity, business, and life in general!

2 into 1, featuring works from Hope Meng, challenges the instinct to decipher and construct meaning from written language. Toeing the line between legibility and abstraction, Meng uses design and fiber art to explore the edge of letterform and visual language.

Oct 31, 10 am $20 Art Show

Bend’s biggest little art show is back, presented by Bright Place Gallery. The High Desert Museum is host to this year’s 20-Dollar Art Show, featuring thousands of pieces of original art by over 100 local artists. All art is for sale and each 6x6 piece is priced at $20.
