Ladies, Wine & Design is a global initiative for female creatives to have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life. Our local evening conversations are held bi-monthly, with limited numbers. If you are a creative or a student and would like to join us, you can email us here. It’s free and reservations are on a first come, first served basis. And Ladies... self-definition is at the sole discretion of the individual.

You can also follow us on Instagram to keep up-to-date, we’re currently developing our Christchurch events schedule so stay tuned. If you'd like to host us in your space, share your craft, be a mentor, or lead a discussion, please get in touch.
We are looking for local creative women in a variety of fields to share their skills, so if you are interested in leading a discussion please let us know. Alternatively if you are a local graphic designer and would like to mentor students or younger designers, please get in touch as we are working to setup a support network for women starting out in the industry.

Postponed Continuing the Conversation

**** THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED***
Due to the current COVID community situation, we have decided to postpone the group event. Fingers crossed we may be able to be out and about by the 15th September, but we want everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed socialising. We are hoping for an October date and will be in touch by email as soon as we have any updates.
This group social event is a chance to get together as many of you lovely ladies as possible to meet, chat and empower each other. It is an open event, so please share with anyone you think might be interested in attending. We will be hearing from one of our hosts, Gail Anderson, with time for a group discussion/questions -  and plenty of time to interact over a drink.

In a bid to make positive change happen, we are looking to initiate supportive mentorship circles. If you are a student or practising creative and would like some feedback on your work, or are interested in private creative discussions with other supportive females in your field, get in touch and we will try and put you together with the right person. Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design in New York after doing a lot of thinking and reading on why there are so few female Creative Directors. She believes we can create change through mentorship and championing each others' work. We are inspired by Jessica's global call for open conversations on design and it is our hope to bring exceptionally talented women together.
