Lead by our two newest hosts Alessia and Lilly we want to explore how the LW&D community uses social Media. How do you find a balance between creating and sharing? Is it important to be not just a creative but an influencer in your field? What does being a creative influencer mean and are we showing ourselves off enough... or are we a selfie short?
This month we will get back to the LWD Basics and host a cosy Saloon night. Welcome in the new season at our host Em's house with an intimate evening of wine and design!
Angela Kettler's Agency "R211" will be the scene for our next event. Join us and Angela as we discover more about her business, projects and studio. This time we will also discover a bit more of each others progress in a casual open project, idea and portfolio discussion. Please come prepared with something to share!
Rienne Bilz will welcome us at Bistro Sommelier. Let's talk about her journey from design to the food and wine biz. It would be an awesome opportunity to share our background stories and have fun!
Silke Roggermann will be our special guest. Silke has turned her passion into her business and networking is a huge part of her job. She runs one of the coolest coworking spaces in town and has a lot to share with us about her experience. Join us for an awesome evening at Super7000.
Come celebrate the first event of our LW&D Düsseldorf chapter. Join Ana Luiza for a fun evening with great chats and some wine. Sign up for our Newsletter to be the first to know about all upcoming events.
Ladies, Wine Design was started by Jessica Walsh when she realized that sometimes women can be competitive or unsupportive of one another. Only a small percent of creative directors are women, and LW&D wants to help change this through mentorship circles, portfolio reviews, talks, and creative meet-ups. In less than two years of launching, we've spread to chapters in over 250 cities all over the world. Numbers show that there’s a very small percentage of women leading the creative industry. However, we find the people we’re inspired by most are often other talented ladies. Here we will list a few women in Düsseldorf, Germany or worldwide we have admired, worked with, or had our eye on. Get inspired! Get in touch if you want to nominate someone for this list, especially German-speaking designers.
