#08 Ladies, Cocktails and Design- Goes ONLINE
So it’s now the norm. You only have to get dressed from the waist up to talk to a client, hold a meeting or hang out with your friends. To look at everything in a more positive light, it seems that everyone is becoming a little more creative as we all look for new ways to go about our daily life during this time. While we are stopping our regular program to move forward in a healthier world we are excited to try a new online approach to LW&D.

Ladies, Wine Design was started by Jessica Walsh when she realized that sometimes women can be competitive or unsupportive of one another. Only a small percent of creative directors are women, and LW&D wants to help change this through mentorship circles, portfolio reviews, talks, and creative meet-ups. In less than two years of launching, we've spread to chapters in over 250 cities all over the world. Have a look at the global page here.

Numbers show that there’s a very small percentage of women leading the creative industry. However, we find the people we’re inspired by most are often other talented ladies. Here we will list a few women in Düsseldorf, Germany or worldwide we have admired, worked with, or had our eye on. Get inspired! Get in touch if you want to nominate someone for this list, especially German-speaking designers.
