Ladies, Wine & Design is a global non-profit initiative with chapters in over 285 cities worldwide and we are proudly representing the creative women, non-binary, agender and gender non-comforming people of Hartlepool, Tees Valley and the wider North East. LWD’s mission is to see more diversity in the creative industry. Our events, social and networking events are the perfect blend of creativity, conversation and wine. Through regular events our chapter celebrates the power of women in the creative and design industry. Our events are a celebration and spotlight on the vibrant, local talent that is thriving in the North East of England. We'll have guest talks, work shops and a range of creative activities designed to encourage and empower one another. Whether you're an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, student, fashion or textile designer, marketer, or simply someone with a passion for the arts and all things creative, our events are wide open for you. Thursday 7th & Friday 8th March Photoshoot Event Celebrating Hartlepool Women

This International Women's Day we're opening the doors to our photography studio with a free CONFETTI HEADSHOTPHOTOSHOOT opportunity to celebrate YOU!

We are inviting all the fantastic creative women in and around Hartlepool.

The event will be held:
Thursday 7th March 3pm-6pm
& Friday 8th March 11am-1pm.

No booking required, if you are a NSoA staff and student. Please just drop in !

We are SUPER excited to release the tickets this week for our ART+WOMEN event on Tuesday 23rd April 6.00-9.30pm, NSoA Northern Studios Hartlepool.

We have an AMAZING line up planned with not only a truly fabulous speaker, but a one night only immersive solo exhibition in store for you.

You will be in for a major treat with this one as we bring you to the Northern School of Art for a night class of tarot themed workshops.

Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design in New York after doing a lot of thinking and reading on why there are so few women creative directors (0.1%!). She believes we can change that through mentorship and championing others' work. We encourage and empower female and non-gender confirming creatives so we can see more female CEOs, Creative Directors and Entrepreneurs. We also think it would be fun to meet other lady creatives, so we reached out to her and Ladies, Wine & Design Hartlepool was born.
