Members can join LWD Dunoon and Cowal for walks, wanders, adventures and casual conversations, sometimes helped by wine, on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, tech, business and the environment. We meet quarterly with the aim of sharing knowledge and welcome women at all stages of their careers. We want to remove barriers, not create them, so contact us if you have any ifs, erms or buts!

This group has been set up to create a space for women working in design orientated sectors of the creative industries that are underrepresented in Dunoon and Cowal, a stunning Scottish peninsula. These sectors include design, fashion & textiles, digital production, illustration, programming, publishing & architecture. Our ambition is to draw attention to the diversity and quality of creative work happening outside of urban areas and support peers to grow skills and opportunities locally and beyond.
