In our upcoming event, our speaker Manon Gruaz, will candidly share her journey through burnout and depression, unveiling the emotional tolls of being a designer. While navigating toxic positivity and the "hustle" culture, Manon will question whether passion-driven designers can endure everything.

This talk will aim to dismantle the stigma around mental health in the Design and Tech communities. Manon will share personal insights, scientific perspectives, and the tricks and habits that have helped her ride out the rough times and find joy in the little things. Join us in uncovering taboos and openly discussing mental health in our profession and daily lives.

Myriam évolue depuis plus de 10 ans dans les sphères du design de services et du numérique. De la co-création, à la prise de besoins, aux tests d’utilisateurs en passant par la conception. Elle a d'ailleurs fondé un collectif d'experts en 2020 : P2+Co.

Les fxmmes ont été durement touchées par la pandémie: confinement, chômage, épuisement professionnel en grand nombre. Comment nourrir notre vocation professionnelle et dépasser nos propres attentes ? Comment pouvons-nous progresser dans notre domaine en restant authentiques ?

Notre invitée, Hélène Godin, sans qui le design montréalais ne serait pas le même, abordera ces questions en nous partageant les apprentissages au cours de sa traversée professionnelle qui lui ont permis de monter là où on la retrouve aujourd’hui.

Son talent et sa vision guident les plus grandes équipes de création pendant plus de 15 ans chez Sid Lee, son travail est maintes fois primé à l’international. Aujourd’hui, à titre de co-fondatrice de la Factry, elle démocratise la créativité en développant des programmes de formation en compétences créatives destinées à tous domaines confondus. Conférencière et mentore, Hélène partage l’amour de sa ville et du design aux quatre coins du monde.
