Ladies, Wine & Design Toronto
A conversation series for Toronto Creatives
Hosted by Carol Ann Apilado
A salon night held monthly, limited to creative womxn. We’ll have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life. If you’re a student or creative and would like to join, please subscribe here to find out more about upcoming meetups and more. It’s free and reservations are first come, first served.
Ladies, Wine, & Design Toronto's event is being held on indigenous territory and we acknowledge the Dish With One Spoon Wampum treaty; an early Indigenous treaty to peaceably share the resources of the Great Lakes region. We acknowledge that we are in the lands of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Petun, Seneca and Huron-Weandat and most recently the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. The word “Toronto” itself, originates from the Kanienke’haka word “Tkaronto” which translates to, “the place in the water where the trees are standing”.
Ladies, Wine, & Design Toronto is intended to be an inclusive and supportive space for all women-identifying, trans, intersex, agender and gender variant people. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of that individual. If you feel that you are included by our gender inclusion policy, you are welcome. If you have any queries regarding our gender inclusion policy, please don’t hesitate to ask questions. Alcohol is entirely optional; you can drink tea, coffee or whatever you like!
Please note that the schedule and topics listed below are tentative and subject to change.
