Ladies, Wine & Design

Ladies, Wine &
Design Vancouver

A conversation series
for Vancouver creatives.
Founded by Jessica Walsh
Hosted by Denise Villanueva &
Stephanie Ganea
at Battlefy HQ.

A salon night held bimonthly, will be limited to eight to ten creative ladies. We occasionally host guest speakers, special workshops and field trips that might be able to accommodate a larger group. We’ll wine, dine, and have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life. We've held 14 events in the last year and a half, and we're ready for another year of inspiration and empowerment.
If you’re a female creative in graphic design, illustration, UX/UI design, industrial design, information architecture, and user research, and would like to join us - we'd love to have you. Reservations are first come, first serve. Follow us on Instagram for event announcements. We've also launched a newsletter to feature local creative events in our community, design-related articles, visual inspiration, feature designers (this could be you) and various design content for your aesthetic viewing pleasure.

Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design in New York after doing a lot of thinking and reading on why there are so few women creative directors. She believes we can change that through mentorship and championing others' work. We couldn't agree more. Here are some articles that inspired us to start a Vancouver chapter of Ladies, Wine & Design:

These are some creative women from and/or based in Vancouver that we think are admirable and inspirational. Please email us if you would like to nominate someone for this list!
